Backer Facsa participates in the YAMAL LNG project.

The project involves the construction of a natural gas liquefaction plant with capacity to produce 16.5 million tons per year, based on the South Tambey gas field, whose reserves are estimated according to PRMS standards at 926 million cubic meters. The YAMAL LNG project also includes the construction of a complete infrastructure in the town of Sabetta (Ru), including a seaport adapted to the enormous demands of the gas transportation vessels, as well as an airport.

 

Backer-Facsa participates in the YAMAL LNG project through the elaboration of several ventilation systems (HVAC) designed to work in an environment of extreme conditions, with temperatures that can drop to -50ºC. Our systems fulfill the critical function of guaranteeing a stable and controlled temperature in the spaces that house the control panels of the installation.
