Facsa

FACSA was established in 1959 as FAC S.A in Aiguafreda, a little town located at some 50Km from Barcelona.

At his early years, FAC S.A was specialized on the manufacturing of tubular heating elements for household applications as a partner of premium whit line brands.

This allowed FAC S.A to leading the Spanish market until 1980 decade, when the company starts to evolve its production systems to enter into the industrial heating elements market. In 2003 FAC S.A was acquired by NIBE Industrier AB, within its division NIBE ELEMENT and as a member of the Backer Group, the specialized brand for industrial heating elements. Since then the company is named as Backer-Facsa.

In our continuous pursuit of new technologies and products, back in 2014 Backer-Facsa build its new facilities specialized in the design and production of professional power resistors. Backer-Facsa Resistor's Division is located at northern Spain, in the town of Llanera, Asturias, and offer to our customer high technology facilities for the design, manufacturing and testing of all our power resistors.
